4 Perspectives was created for a Media Design class in 2021. The task was very open: to document something in some way. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to document my room from different perspectives, in different seasons and in different visual styles.
At the time, I had just moved into my first flat, so my room felt like the most honest subject I could choose. It was the first space that was fully my own, but also the place where I was still getting used to living alone for the first time. By returning to the same room again and again, I could document not only the space itself, but also my own process of settling in.
The final pieces were created using a mix of digital and traditional painting techniques. Each version was inspired by different reference images and styles, which allowed me to explore how the same place can feel completely different depending on color, medium, season and perspective.
