Bite the Hand That Feeds You was a personal project I created in 2024. With this piece, I wanted to explore the idea of how people often lash out most strongly at those closest to them. I chose the imagery of a hare and combined it with a comic-inspired panel composition to make the action feel more direct and emotionally charged. Since I had never drawn hares before, a big part of the process was studying their anatomy, which made the project especially interesting to work on. Overall, it was a fun challenge and a good opportunity to combine a more symbolic idea with a stylized visual approach.
