For my bachelor’s degree final project, I was part of a team creating an unofficial music video for Emmit Fenn’s song Painting Greys. Our goal was to experiment with a wide range of visual styles while still creating a coherent result.
The story follows a young woman struggling with perfectionism, control, and internalized stress until she finally breaks free and learns how to express herself.
My role in the project focused on art direction. I oversaw the overall visual direction while also contributing concept art, storyboarding, character sculpting, texturing, 2D animation, and character clothing simulation.
The project was created using Houdini, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and ZBrush. The team consisted of Jona Melvin Grobe, Hannah Rampitsch, Mona Supersberger, and me.
This project taught me a great deal about creating intricate textures in Substance Designer, which has helped me enormously in my later work. It was also my first time working with Marvelous Designer, giving me valuable experience with digital clothing simulation.
Character sculpted in zBrush, clothing done in Marvelous Designer, textures created in Substance 3D Painter.

2D frame-by-frame animation created in ProCreate.
