This was my first project created with Unreal Engine’s Niagara particle system. I developed both the concept and the execution myself, and used the project as a way to get familiar with particle-driven visuals inside Unreal.
Since Niagara was still new to me at the time, a lot of the process was about testing things and seeing how far I could push the system visually. I experimented with movement, timing, color and density to create something that felt more like a small atmospheric visual piece rather than just a technical test.
The project gave me a first proper understanding of how powerful Niagara can be, especially for creating abstract, reactive or mood-based visuals in real time. It also made me more curious about Unreal as a creative tool, not only for rendering scenes, but for building dynamic visual systems.
